Learn the basics of two-dimensional needle felting with Amy Reader. In this class, we will create a tide pool-inspired needle felted scene. All materials will be provided, and participants will leave with a set of beginning needle felting supplies. This class is beginner friendly. The class will start with guided demonstrations of multiple needle felting techniques and you will receive hands on guidance throughout the needle felting process!

Amy Reader (she/her) is a fiber artist based in Portland, OR. She learned to sew when she was six years old and quickly fell in love with textiles. Amy enjoys exploring fiber arts of all kinds, including embroidery, standing wool, needle felting, knitting, and crocheting. Amy worked at Anthropologie as the Display Coordinator creating the window and in-store displays. In 2019, Amy was accepted as a member of the Society for Embroidered Work .
